Manila Water Company is a water supply company serving the Philippine market. It provides fresh water, wastewater treatment and sanitation services to approximately 6 million people in the eastern side of Metro Manila. The company holds the exclusive right to provide water and wastewater services to the eastern side of Metro Manila till 2037. Furthermore, Manila Water completed the acquisition of an 18.72% equity stake in the Thai water and wastewater utility company Eastern Water Resources Development and Management PLC in March 2018. The investment is intended to further strengthen the expansion in the ASEAN region.
