IAM holds 50.1% of the share capital in Aguas Andinas and its associated subsidiaries. Aguas Andinas is the largest sanitary company in Chile. It is a classic water supplier for around 8 million people in Chile and covers the entire water cycle – from the extraction and distribution of water and the subsequent treatment and disposal of wastewater. In addition to the 50.1 % stake in Aguas Andinas, IAM offers environmental analysis services and consulting and management services for wastewater and sludge through other subsidiaries. It also operates processing plants for liquid industrial waste in Chile. However, IAM shares are currently only listed on the Chilean stock exchange in the home currency.
